Day 1
Learning to create a basic head shape
Day 34
Carved out the inside of the bust so it wouldn't explode in the kiln, sanded piece and burnished the more sensitive areas.
Day 9
With the help of my instructor, I improved the facial features and made the figure more believable.
Day 27
Added hair and extended the neck to create collarbones and part of the shoulders.
Day 55
Used oxides with clear glaze for the face, and liquid glazes for the hair and eyes.
Day 57
Decided on an outfit, took photos and entered into regional art competition.
